Role: Accounts Assistant
Salary: £25,000
Location: Oldham

Search Manchester are currently working with a fantastic client based in the Oldham area who are looking to grow their accounts team. The ideal Accounts Assistant will have a keen interest in pursuing a career within a fast-paced and busy accounts environment.

Key responsibilities of an Accounts Assistant:

- Processing invoices accurately and in a timely manner
- Processing journals
- Reconciling supplier statements and resolving any discrepancies
- Processing payments and maintaining accurate records
- Generating reports
- Assisting with month-end and year-end closing processes

Requirements of the successful Accounts Assistant:

- Proven experience in an accounts assistant or similar role
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team
