The Accounts Assistant will be an integral part of the Accounting & Finance department, contributing to the financial success of a remarkable Not For Profit organisation located in Leeds. Description

  • Deliver accurate and timely financial reports
  • Manage financial transactions and document procedures
  • Audit financial documents and procedures, reconcile bank statements
  • Participate in budgeting processes
  • Maintain confidentiality of financial information
  • Collaborate with the Accounting & Finance team to improve financial procedures
  • Support month-end and year-end close process
  • Ensure compliance with organisational financial policies and regulations

Profile

A successful Accounts Assistant hould have:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with exceptional Excel skills
  • Strong understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to create and present detailed reports
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
  • Experience in a similar Accounts Assistant, Finance Officer, or equivalent role
