Location: London (Hybrid: 2 Days from Home) | Contract: Permanent

?? Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will take the lead on a portfolio of diverse and engaged clients. This is more than just number crunching — it’s about building long-term relationships and providing end-to-end financial guidance as a trusted advisor and team mentor.

They will be responsible for:

· Overseeing service delivery and ensuring compliance across a designated client base.

· Managing workflows efficiently — from scoping and budgeting to briefing and reviewing.

· Preparing and reviewing FRS 102 Section 1A accounts (with occasional exposure to IFRS/FRS101, if applicable).

· Supporting business development efforts with confidence and strategic insight.

· Mentoring junior colleagues and contributing to their professional growth.

�? Client Portfolio

The Accounts Manager will engage with a wide-ranging client base, including growing businesses, not-for-profits, and high-net-worth individuals. The work is hands-on and varied, encompassing advisory projects, collaborative conversations, and meaningful contributions beyond compliance.

?? Ideal Profile

The ideal candidate will bring:

· A proven track record of managing their own client portfolio with a focus on relationship-building.

· Experience in mentoring and developing junior team members.

· Proficiency in FRS 102 Section 1A (bonus for familiarity with IFRS/FRS101).

· Strong organisational skills and commercial awareness.

· A people-centric mindset, appreciating both the human and technical sides of accounting.

· Familiarity with tools such as Xero, Caseware, or Silverfin (advantageous but not essential).
