As the Accounts Senior, you will be working closely with the Accounts Manager to prepare accounts for a range of OMB/SME clients. This firm have a fantastic reputation across Chester for going above and beyond for clients, in a professional, yet friendly manner.

Client Details

Our client is based in Chester and has been experiencing growth year on year. Many of their clients come from word of mouth recommendations which is echoed in their face to face and regular contact approach.

Description

As the Accounts Senior, you will be working closely with the Accounts Manager to produce and review Statutory accounts for clients, along with VAT returns and other ad-hoc accounting duties.

A main part of this role will be client facing and being involved in meetings from the start. This firm of Accountants enjoys explaining complicated matters to clients in layman's terms and helps them understand where they can take their businesses. Therefore, this role requires entrepreneurial thinking and a good level of communication.

Profile

The successful Accounts Senior will be either QBE, working towards their ACCA/ACA qualification or fully qualified.

Experience of working in practice for at least 2 years

Ability to communicate with clients face to face and via email/phone etc.

Commercial awareness and and a positive attitude

Shows knowledge and interest in the Accountancy sector
