Adult Social Worker

Tempest Resourcing is currently recruiting for a Qualified Adults Social Worker to join an Adults Early Support Team in Rochdale, Manchester.

This would be a great job for someone who has 2+ years of post-qualifying experience in the adult social care setting as a social worker. You will be working in a fast-paced environment and delivering innovative and creative solutions to help shape and design a new Adult Social Care Early Help offer within a newly formed Adults Early Support Team. There is an option for hybrid working after the first 6 weeks subject to satisfactory performance.

The aim of this new team is to provide early services to prevent or reduce needs from escalating and helping to maximise independence.

Responsibilities:-

• Being the first point of contact in Adult Social Care for adults in varying situations
• As a social worker you will need to deliver assessments and support for residents
• Being a professional resource for ASC & Health colleagues
• Resolve requests for support at the first point of contact by providing short-term interventions

Requirements:-

• Eligible to work in the UK
• Degree level or equivalent in Social Care
• DBS Check
• Hold a full UK Licence
• Two years of post-qualifying experience in any adult social care setting
• Ensure all work is carried out in line with the appropriate legislation, guidelines, policies and procedures
