Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Engineer

Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Service Engineer required to work for our client who are a specialist Air Conditioning and Refrigeration company based in North Somerset. Due to the continued success and growth of the business, they are now looking to employ an additional specialist engineer. The most suitable candidate will be based in and around Bristol. The Service Engineer will cover sites generally within an hour or so, of Bristol.

The Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Engineer will be expected to preform service, fault finding and maintenance on commercial AC systems, with some commercial refrigeration also, this will be an approximate 60/40 split so experience working on both systems are highly advantageous. Systems and units such as ice machines, bottle coolers, cold rooms, cellar cooling, cabinets and split systems, VRV and VRF. Working within Hotels, Restaurants, Schools, Offices and MOD sites. Our client's ideal candidate will be an engineer who is looking to improve and learn new things. The candidate is required to have F-Gas Cat-1 2079 certificate and NVQ2 in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration.

Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Engineer Position Overview

Candidate must be comfortable with performing service and maintenance tasks on both commercial refrigeration units and air conditioning units in a range of working environments in a wide area, which includes Bristol, Weston-Super-Mare, Somerset and more.

Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Engineer Position Requirements

• Working in a range of commercial sites
• Experience working with Air Conditioning units VRV, VRF, Split Systems - required
• Experience working with Commercial refrigeration units such as Ice machines, Bottle coolers, Cold Rooms, Cellar Cooling, Cabinets etc. - advantageous
• F-Gas Cat-1 2079
• NVQ2 in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration or equivalent

Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Engineer Position Remuneration

• Salary up to £35,000 - £43,000 depending on experience
• Door to Door Travel Paid
• Company van, fuel card and phone
• Specialist tools provided
• 20 Holiday Days + 8 Bank Holidays (Extra 1 day per year of service, up to a maximum of 25 days)
• Non mandatory call out
• Overtime Available (At Additional Rates, from 8+ hours on site)
