Air Tightness Tester

Our client is one of the top suppliers of testing, consulting, and assessment services to the UK building, remodelling, and development sectors. They are urgently looking for a trained Air Tightness Tester to join their team in the South East due to a significant increase in business.

Requirements:

  • A firm understanding of building regulations and the construction industry.
  • A good degree of numerical ability.
  • A relevant qualification in air tightness testing and a functional understanding of test guidelines and regulations are prerequisites.
  • Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal.
  • Familiarity with IT software packages.
  • A valid driver's licence.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Communicating with stakeholders on-site.
  • Gathering and evaluating test data and composing thorough reports.
  • Giving remedial advice when and if tests are unsuccessful.
  • Moving equipment from the lab to the testing location and assembling it.
  • Organising and creating test procedures.
