AIT Lab Manager

As AIT Lab Technician you will be part of the UK Robotics team developing equipment and sub-systems for multiple space missions.

As AIT Lab Technician you will be part of a small, supportive team, supporting manufacturing and test activities, together with

• Kitting builds
• PCB assembly (SM & through hole soldering)
• Harness manufacture
• Assembly of flight equipment, including sensitive optical instruments
• Executing test campaigns on flight equipment
• Liaising with external test houses
• Supporting test reviews
• Maintenance of the labs and clean room, including goods in inspections
• Providing clear documentation

To be considered for the role of AIT Lab Technician you will:

• Have BTEC or equivalent in technical discipline
• Have clean room experience
• Have an excellent organizational skills
• Have ability to follow and enforce lab procedures
• Experience working in manufacturing & test facilities
• Ability to follow manufacturing processes and apply rigorous build standards
• Have good written and verbal communication skills
• Have awareness of engineering standards (preferably ECSS)
