Assistant Accountant

Robert Half Finance and Accounting are currently looking to recruit an Assistant Accountant to join an SME in South Bristol. For the right person, the client is offering a competitive salary of up to £30,000.

Reporting into the Finance Manager, you will be a key component in the Accounts Department, providing instrumental support.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Processing payroll on a weekly and monthly basis
• Invoice processing
• Credit control:chasing late payments and overseeing payment schedules
• Raising and issuing invoices
• Month end:reconciling aspects of the balance sheet
• Petty cash management and one off payments
• Other ad hoc tasks as required by the Finance Manager

Person Specification:

• Purchase ledger, sales ledger and payroll experience
• Good software skills including MS Excel
• Excellent communication skills
• Friendly and easygoing personality
