Job Title: Assistant Ecologist

Salary: £24,000 - £26,000

Location: Wiltshire

We are working with a specialist family-run ecology consultancy based in Wiltshire, sitting on the Salisbury Plain who are looking for an Assistant Ecologist to join their team. As an Assistant Ecologist you'll receive:

  • £24,000 - £26,000 depending on experience
  • Hybrid working, with 3 days per week in the office
  • Excellent progression opportunities

As an Assistant Ecologist your duties will be:

  • Providing ecological support to a varied range of projects across different sectors from individual householders architects, landowners, government and utilities
  • Planning and coordinating field surveys
  • Undertaking field surveys and managing survey data
  • Undertaking mapping using QGIS

To be considered for the Assistant Ecologist position, you will need:

  • A degree in a relevant area, such as Ecology, Biology or Zoology
  • Proven experience within ecological consultancy
  • Willingness to complete field surveys and travel to different sites
  • A full valid UK/EEC driving licence and your own car
