Assistant Headteacher

I am working with an excellent School who are looking for an Assistant Headteacher, which is addition to the responsibilities of a Teacher will play a major role in the overall direction of the Headteacher such as strategy of the School, staff responsibility and policy establishment.

Being an inspirational leader, yo you will support the Headteacher and Deputy Headteacher in driving high quality education through consistent and effective leadership. You will assist with driving the Schools culture and establishing high quality education.

• Significant experience with a record of excellent teaching and a desire to step up into a Leadership role
• Leadership of an area or phase or inclusion including and responsibility for raising standards across the whole school
• You will have a proven track record of raising achievement
• Evidence of impact beyond own area of responsibility
• Experience of teaching in more than one key stage within a Primary setting
• Experience of leading initiatives with in the school alongside the Headteacher and Leadsership team
• Demonstration of high expectations including leading by example as a teacher
• Evidence of contributing to effective staff training, both on anindividual and whole school level
• Understanding of learning with regard to stages of basic skills development of children
