Elevation Accountancy & Finance are excited to be working with a market-leading business based in Bakewell, as they look to appoint a progressive & highly enthusiastic Assistant Management Accountant to join their team on a 5-6 month basis to cover maternity leave. 

The business are continually growing, so there could always be potential for permanency down the line! This is atruly all-encompassing, varied and highly sought after Part Qualified vacancy.

Duties & Responsibilities of the Assistant Management Accountant will include: 

  • Support the Group finance team in the preparation of monthly management accounts for both the profit and loss and balance sheet
  • Management Accountant responsibility for smaller entities within the Group
  • Assist in the preparation of the Group tax computations
  • Preparation of VAT returns, and Gift Aid Submissions
  • Prepare weekly performance analysis and reviews, KPI’s, and ad hoc performance analysis

Key Skills & Experience needed: 

  • New/part qualified accountant
  • Previous accounting experience
  • Knowledge of financial systems
  • IT literate, including Microsoft Excel
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Able to prioritise work and work to strict deadlines
