Requirements:

  • Social Work registered
  • Experience managing a Social Work team
  • Extensive experience and knowledge of Assessment, Intake and Section 47s

NonStop's client is a reputable local authority located in South East London are seeking a Assistant Team Manager to join their Care Leavers team. You will carry a caseload of 50% and provide supervision and take line management responsibility for up to 2 qualified social workers.

What they offer:

  • Pay up to £40 per hour
  • Work 9am to 5:30pm Mondays to Thursdays, and 9am to 4:30pm on Fridays.
  • Hybrid working consisting of 3 days in the office
  • 18-25 Care Leavers team
  • Role entails both supervising staff and holding a small caseload of about 7 or 8, with one of these being a court case.

As an Assistant Team Manager, you will be the critical link between the team and managers. This role will be focused on influencing, encouraging, leading and managing your team. We have highly developed performance data that you will analyse to drive through improvements and improved practices.
