Associate Architect | Manchester | £50,000 - £65,000 - DOE
 
Konker is recruiting for a Associate Architect to join a RIBA practice going through rapid growth in their Manchester office based in the city's heart. 
 
This RIBA practice of over 50 staff, is looking to further grow its industrial and retail operations and is seeking an Associate Architect to support them in their Manchester office. This role will be focused on high value, low risk, industrial projects. 
 
At present, the Manchester office has roughly 15 employees but due to further client demand and to support the operations of its two other offices, they are seeking new staff to join them. This practice currently employs around 90 staff across all their offices. 
 
This Associates Architect position will see you running and managing projects while overseeing a team in the office.
 
Over the last 30 years, this RIBA practice has worked on many award-winning projects, locally and nationally.  
 
With their core principles revolving around sustainable design and work enjoyment, this diverse practice is looking for an Architect who loves their work and will bring plenty of enthusiasm along with them.  
 
Most of their projects are designed using Revit so experience with this package is essential. Also, previous experience working on Industrial projects is needed, alongside any experience in cladding being a major benefit. 
 
The Role: Associate Architect – Revit    
  • Run your own projects
  • Lead a team and help manage the office in Manchester
  • Work in a relaxed working environment
  • Producing technical drawings for each stage of the building process
  • Liaising with clients, contractors, and consultants
  • Annual bonus scheme, that has been paid every year for over 10 years!
The salary for this position is between £50K-£65K depending on previous experience and ability. They also offer a generous benefits package, including a company bonus paid out over the last 11 years.
