An exceptional Top 20 Firm based in the City of London is looking to add an Audit Manager to their team. The firm has an excellent mix of clients ranging from corporate, through to creative and FCA Regulated clients and the successful candidate will be given responsibility for their own client portfolio that will grow over time. There will also be the opportunity to get involved in corporate finance work and there is a defined route to Partnership for the right person.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing a varied portfolio of clients and acting as the first point of contact for any client queries
  • Managing staff, delegating and reviewing their work, carrying out appraisals
  • Providing training (structured and on the job) as and when required
  • Ensuring that the WIP is managed correctly, prioritising work where appropriate
  • Assist with any practice management duties as and where necessary

Requirements:

  • Experience of working in a Practice and managing a portfolio of clients worth in excess of £400k
  • Proven track record of managing and developing junior members of staff
  • Up to date knowledge on all relevant reporting standards
  • Any experience of working with group companies and international clients would be advantageous.
