Pay Rate: £22 - £24 per hour
Pay Mechanism: Direct Engagement
Contract Duration: 24/04/2025 - 24/05/2025

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join our inpatient team at UHDB. The role involves assessing, treating, and discharging a range of inpatients while working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team (MDT) to deliver effective patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, treat, and manage a diverse caseload of inpatients

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment and discharge plans

  • Engage in effective communication with patients, families, and the MDT

  • Facilitate safe and timely discharges, ensuring appropriate support is in place

  • Manage challenging conversations with sensitivity and professionalism

Key Requirements:

  • BSc/MSc in Occupational Therapy

  • HCPC registered

  • Strong MDT communication skills

  • Experience in inpatient settings, including discharge planning

  • Ability to handle complex and sensitive discussions

  • No remote working - on-site role
