If so, Tradewind Recruitment has an excellent opportunity for you! Tradewind is currently seeking an experienced Behaviour Mentor to support a lovely secondaryschool in Nantwich!

Position: Behaviour Mentor

Location: Nantwich

Contract Type: Full-Time, Temporary to Permanent

Pay: £83 - £100 a day, subject to experience

Start Date: ASAP

The Role:

  • Supporting young people with literacy, numeracy and general subject knowledge
  • Supporting young people with social, emotional, and behavioural difficulties
  • Work collaboratively with other members of the SEN team, senior leaders, heads of departments, parents and carers, social workers
  • Help students build confidence and a passion for learning

Requirements:

Ideal candidates will have strong curriculum knowledge and will ensure the support they deliver is of excellent quality using innovative and engaging approaches.

To be considered for this role, you should have:

  • Previous children-based work experience
  • An enhanced DBS certificate (or the willingness to apply for a new one)
  • CV with a full education and work history
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt to different learning needs and styles
  • Strong understanding of the UK Schools curriculum
  • And the commitment to supporting student development and well-being
