BI Manager

  • Salary: £65,000-£70,000
  • Location: Home-Based (Must be able to get to Midlands when needed for meetings)
  • Job Type: Full-time

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a BI Manager to join a national market-leading client. This is a key role which involves leading the engagement, planning, and delivery of Agile BI services. As the BI Manager will manage a portfolio of BI services, oversee the development of BI reporting solutions, and ensure their successful adoption.

The role is offered on a remote basis, but you will need to attend meetings in the Midlands when needed, so you must be UK based.

Key duties as the BI Manager include:

  • Develop and maintain effective stakeholder relationships to deliver an outstanding customer experience.
  • Support strategic BI planning and identify requirements for BI products and services.
  • Guide business requirements from management through to BI project definition, user acceptance testing, and sign-off.
  • Collaborate with data and technical leads to provide effective BI solutions, balancing service delivery within agreed Service Levels.
  • Oversee Agile delivery for a portfolio of BI Services, ensuring alignment with business priorities.

Required Skills & Qualifications as the BI Manager include:

  • Proven BI experience with a focus on data management, reporting, and insight generation.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver strategic BI solutions, including cloud migration and system integration.
  • Strong knowledge of Azure BI platforms, SQL, and reporting tools such as Power BI, Qlik, or Tableau.
  • Agile team management experience, preferably with MS DevOps.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with a passion for BI products.
  • Degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience in a similar specialist area.
