Delighted to be exclusively recruiting for an Invoice and Billing Controller in Leicestershire. This is a critical position, and you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely billing, monitoring payment statuses, resolving discrepancies and maintaining financial records related to invoicing.

  
Key deliverables:
  • Responsible for stakeholder management and working closely with all departments.
  • Streamline billing procedures and optimise revenue collection processes.
  • Lead and oversee the end-to-end management of the invoicing process.
  • Be accountable for improving financial processes and have the autonomy to make improvements, strategically driving the finance function.
  • Assist in the development and improvement of billing policies and procedures.
  • Provide reports on billing activities, revenue collection and aging accounts receivable.
  • Lead initiatives to drive automated billing processes.
The Right Candidate:
  • You will have a proven track record in a similar role.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Excellent IT skills.
  • Good understanding of management accounting principles and billing processes.
  • Have experience with high volumes of invoices.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and excellent customer services.
  • Confident liaising with internal and external key stakeholders.
  • Take ownership and accountability.
  • Happy to drive change and have an inquisitive mind.
  • Will be commercially astute.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Will lead from the front and be an excellent business ambassador.
