Right Now Group is exclusively partnering with a globally recognised logistics leader to recruit for the position of Freight Branch Manager at their Dublin location. This is an exciting opportunity to join a forward-thinking, international freight forwarder with a strong presence in the Life science, Aerospace, and general cargo sectors. As a key player in air freight, road freight, and sea freight services, the successful candidate will lead and drive the continued growth and success of the Dublin branch.Key Responsibilities for the Freight Branch Manager:
  • Full P&L responsibility for the Dublin branch, with a primary focus on air freight consignments for export/import within Life science, Aerospace, and general cargo sectors.

  • Oversee daily operations of the branch, ensuring efficiency, service excellence, and profitability across air freight, road freight, and sea freight shipments.

  • Lead and develop a dynamic team, focusing on operational performance, staff development, and maintaining a high-performance culture.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new clients, ensuring their needs within the Life science, Aerospace, and general cargo sectors are met and exceeded.

  • Drive business growth through the development and execution of commercial strategies, identifying new opportunities in air, road, and sea freight services.

  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and industry standards, aligning with company policies and practices.

  • Regularly report on financial performance to senior management, identifying trends and implementing actions to meet or exceed targets.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimise operations and improve service delivery across all freight modes.

Key Requirements for the Freight Branch Manager:
  • Proven experience in a Branch Manager or similar role within the logistics, freight, or supply chain industry, particularly in air freight operations.

  • Strong operational and commercial background, with a deep understanding of managing budgets, teams, and client relationships in air, road, and sea freight.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate teams and foster a culture of excellence.

  • Experience in managing P&L, and a strong understanding of financial metrics and cost control.

  • Ability to develop and execute strategic plans that align with company objectives and drive local business growth in Life science, Aerospace, and general cargo sectors.

  • Knowledge and experience with air freight consignments, as well as road and sea freight shipments, is highly desirable.

Additional Information:

Salary Negotiable: €75,000 - €120,000+
