Building Control Surveyor

Westminster Council are looking for a Building Control Surveyor.

• £400-431 per day.
• Inside IR35.
• Hybrid Working.

Responsibilities:

• Review plans for a diverse range of construction projects. Conduct on-site inspections to ensure compliance with building regulations.
• Provide Building Control advice through various channels (phone, email, in person).
• Inspect dangerous structures during regular working hours. Participate in the out-of-hours dangerous structures rota. Maintain accurate records of inspections and correspondence.
• Support the training of Trainee and Assistant Surveyors. Assist the Principal Surveyor and Head of Building Control with additional team duties.
• Required Skills: Degree in construction or equivalent qualification, preferably with a Band C Building Control Surveyor Registration (BSR) qualification. Full corporate membership status with a recognized professional body such as RICS, CABE, or CIOB. Minimum of seven years' experience in Building Control. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently. Eagerness to learn and develop both soft and technical skills. Strong team player with a sense of responsibility.
