Blume is a specialist professional marketing collective that is expanding rapidly across the UK, both organically and through mergers and acquisitions. We specialise in Clinical Negligence and Personal Injury within the claimant sector.

Due to the continued success of the business, we are seeking a highly-motivated and ambitious Business Development Executive to join our expanding business development team to help retain and build our panel of clinical negligence law firm clients.

Supported by our Head of Business Development for Clinical Negligence, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, establishing existing client relationships, and contributing to the overall growth of our client base.

This role involves strategic planning, relationship building, and achieving revenue targets.

  • Understanding the clinical negligence legal sector and digging deeper into how we can use insights and experiences to help law firms grow.
  • Demonstrating a natural confidence and passion when connecting and engaging with new and existing clients.
  • Supporting our wider goal of connecting individuals who have suffered harm as a result of medical negligence with the right law firm.

Your key responsibilities:

  • Support the Head of Clinical Negligence with identifying and sourcing potential law firms that could benefit from Blume’s services.
  • Promote the services offered by Blume through a broad range of channels including presentations, events, and conferences.
  • Develop, maintain and nurture client relationships.
  • Support our client relationship team to ensure that our existing relationships are well-maintained and service standards are being met.
  • Be comfortable with assessing panel performance data and making recommendations.
  • Be passionate about networking and talking about Blume’s services.
  • Enjoy proactively identifying and building a pipeline of new business opportunities.
  • Manage sales administration including producing reports, proposals and contracts.
  • Be comfortable with contract negotiations; coordinating with our finance team and key stakeholders within the business

Experience and skills:

  • 3 years+ business development/sales experience in legal or medical sector (desired)
  • Organised self-starter with strong attention to detail and analysis
  • Proactive and self-motivated individual with outstanding presentation skills
  • Excellent communication skills, with the capability to cultivate and maintain positive client relationships

Salary: £50k, attractive bonus, plus car allowance/company car

Hours: 37.5 (flexibility required)
