Brand new role in this mid-sized international law firm, focusing on their growing ESG services. London based. Hybrid working. Up to £70,000 plus bonus.

This international law firm with a great culture, and presence in Real Estate, Life Science and Tech sectors, is going through a period of growth. They are looking for a Business Development Manager to lead on their growing ESG service offering. This role will work across practice, with a particularly strong collaboration with the Real Estate BD and Corporate BD team. As well as working with the client team to look at cross selling opportunities, and the marcomms team in developing collateral for this growing area.

The firm have an ESG strategy roadmap, that the BD Manager will help in delivering, but there is plenty of opportunity to present new ideas. As a result, the firm are looking for someone with a real passion for this area. Legal BD experience isn’t essential, but would help. But ideally candidates will have experience in a marketing, client development or BD role within professional services, built environment or financial services, and will be able to navigate a cross practice and sector environment.

Duties will include but aren’t limited to:

- Lead and implement the ESG BD Strategy, in collaboration with the Lead Partner for ESG;

- Develop client targeting strategies, identifying cross selling opportunities;

- Develop relationships with key clients, intermediaries and industry bodies within the ESG space;

- Lead the ESG client listening programme;

- Manage a range of profile raising initiatives such as events, podcasts; thought leadership campaigns etc.

- Develop and maintain key messaging and collateral around ESG;

- Support the pitch process where needed from an ESG perspective.

The firm operate a hybrid model of two days at home a week. However, are open to discussing flexible working and part time options, for the right candidate.
