Midlands.

£40,000 to £50,000 + Bonus (up to 30%) + Car Allowance.

Do you have a proven record of sales growth? Do you possess a strong toolbox of business development and sales techniques? Can you penetrate a market, identifying key industry influencers, forming strong relationships and creating a constant pipeline of potential business opportunities?

We have been retained to find a highly motivated and resilient Business Development Manager for a member organisation providing membership, services and products for a thriving market sector.

This is a new role, reporting to the Managing Director, with the opportunity to set up the Business Development function, creating processes, ways of working and reporting.

The objectives of the role are simple - increase membership numbers, increase spend per member and increase sales of services and products to non-members within the industry. A key part of the role will be to gather industry intelligence to share with the business, helping it improve its products and services to deliver better membership value.

The salary on offer will be negotiable depending on what skills and experience the successful candidate brings to the position. The bonus will be dependent on performance.
