Business Development Manager

My client who is a global leading provider within their industry, is looking for a Business Development Manager to join their growing team. You will work with their excellent and highly competent Sales and Operations teams to promote the growth of the business.

Duties will include:

* You will be responsible for business development - collaborate with all levels of the sales organisation on key opportunities
* Develop and own strategy in line with, and execution to achieve agreed growth targets
* Targeted number of client visits per month
* Maintain and develop overseas partner relationships, including pipeline development, sales lead creation and focused activities with our overseas company partners
* Understand customer requirements to ensure effective alignment with supplier sourcing
* Conduct regular reviews of market sector strategy, new business opportunity and value creation
* Ensure key client requirements are effective, profitable and linked to the operational department
* Maintain service KPI's for both customer and supplier

Skills and Experience:

* You should have good problem solving ability
* Experience of gathering and interpreting business needs and offering suitable solutions
* Full driver's license with flexibility to travel nationally and overseas
* Excellent organisational & time management skills
