A long-established Asset Finance Funder are looking for a Business Development Manager/ Broker Manager to join their team in a brand new Manchester City Centre office, a great opportunity for an up and coming Asset Finance professional to develop their career with a growing organisation. 

Package: £32,500 per annum + Commission 
Location: Manchester City Centre 

The role of Business Development Manager:
  • The role of BDM/Broker Manager is suitable for a salesperson with no, or limited current track record in broker sales management
  • Involves largely self-sourcing your own business by identify and prospecting for new introducers whilst maintaining an existing panel of introducers in your area
  • Is an external sales role involving significant out bound activity including a minimum of 3-5 self-generated physical meetings a week with brokers across the North
  • Requires the management of leads from proposal to pay out, including credit appraisal and physical sign ups on most deals
What you will have: 
  • Recent experience of the Asset Finance Industry, ideally in a customer/broker facing sales role for a funder as opposed to a broker
  • Confident, self-motivated, and driven to succeed, and excels under the pressure of hitting stretching targets
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate at all levels
  • Sales driven with ability to plan and manage their own high levels of activities and contact strategy
  • A full driving license and be a confident and experienced driver
  • Previous experience in credit appraisal i.e. reviewing searches, bank statements and financials is preferred
