The One Group are delighted be partnered with a global brand within the Biopharma industry who work with an excellent portfolio of clients who are currently searching for their next Buyer, you will be joining a vibrant team where teamwork is essential. They are on the look out of a fresh set of eyes within their Purchasing team who can be a part of their overall company performance, you will be hybrid working after initial training (roughly 2 - 4 weeks).

What your day will look like?

  • You will be managing set commodities ensuring cost reductions inline with business targets.
  • Management of inventory levels to ensure parts availability.
  • Predicting and managing early risks within the supply chain process.
  • Process of RFQs and transact into purchase orders.
  • Expedite goods and services to ensure supply continuity to the business, working within timeframes and KPIs.
  • Development of supplier relationships.

The ideal person for this role will have experience within a similar role within a Purchasing or Buyer role, ideally you will have experience within a manufacturing business working closely with technical parts. You will enjoy working in a team and be commercially aware of cost savings. Have a good level of IT skills this role requires some use on Excel and an inhouse ERP system.

Ability to develop and maintain relationships.

Salary: up to £30,000, 25 days holiday + bank holidays, 4% employer and 5% employee pension contributions, Death in service, and hybrid working.

Hours: 9 - 5pm Monday - Friday (Flexible)
