C++ Software Engineer - 12 Month Fixed Term Contract

Salary: £75,000 + Bonus

London Hybrid (3 days per week onsite)

An esteemed company in the finance sector focusing on investment insights seeks skilled C++ Engineers to join them in the London office.

As a vital member of the team, you will contribute to enhancing the efficiency of our systems responsible for the global delivery and storage of over 40 billion messages daily. Your role will entail:

  • Continuous improvement of system efficiency in response to the evolving market demands.
  • Diagnosing and resolving live client issues promptly.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams specializing in QA, DevOps, and Production Management.

The ideal candidate should possess the following:

  • Proficiency in C++ development within a server-side environment
  • Strong understanding of STL and boost libraries.
  • Interest in cloud technologies, particularly AWS.
  • Hands-on experience with the full software development lifecycle.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Familiarity with financial markets is advantageous.

This position requires candidates to be able to commute into central London 3 days per week and must possess full authorization to work in the UK.
