CAD Technician Overhead Lines - HV
Manchester, London, Warwick or Derby

Join Belcan Workforce Solutions as a CAD Technician specialising in Overhead Lines and HV for an exciting permanent opportunity with a leading UK construction and regeneration group. This full-time role can be located in London, Derby, Warwick or Manchester and offers hybrid working.

As a CAD Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out draughting with AutoCAD, MicroStation, and other design tools. You will produce model and drawing deliverables on HV OHL projects as directed by the project lead. Liaising with OHL engineers, you will ensure the accuracy and completeness of CAD deliverables, contributing to the continuous improvement of team processes and procedures.

Our client is seeking someone who can learn MicroStation and assist with Wire Clearance drawings.

To succeed in this role, you should have a minimum qualification of HNC/D level, ideally with EngTech MIET or MICE status or working towards it. Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D and 3D software is required, with working knowledge of Autodesk Revit or Bentley MicroStation preferred. Experience within the HV sector is advantageous.
