Exciting Opportunity: Caretaker Needed for SEN School in Sheffield S2

Are you a skilled Caretaker or Facilities Manager seeking a rewarding role in a dynamic educational environment? Look no further! We're currently seeking a dedicated individual to join our team at a SEN school in Sheffield S2.

Position: Caretaker

Location: Sheffield S2

Shift: Split shift from 7am to 6pm daily

Start Date: June 3rd or ASAP

Type: Permanent (initially pay rolled through Tradewind Recruitment)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring the school premises are safe, clean, and well-maintained
  • Performing routine maintenance tasks and minor repairs
  • Managing security systems and responding to emergencies as needed
  • Supporting the school community by providing a welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a caretaker or facilities manager
  • Availability for split shifts from 7am to 6pm
  • DBS registered to the update service (or willingness to obtain)
  • Passion for working with students with SEMH and additional needs
