A new opportunity has arisen for Chef to work in the kitchen at Dunkirk Memorial House.

You will manage the catering services within the home, maintaining a high standard of food provision and service to the residents, staff and visitors.

We have great hours available with shifts starting at 7am and finishing at 6pm and we offer alternate weekends off. We have an air conditioned kitchen with all new appliances.

We also provide uniforms which are laundered onsite in our laundry department, and we have ample parking onsite for staff.

Educated to NVQ 2 Cooking or equivalent and an immediate food hygiene certificate, you will have experience of catering management in a care home or similar environment for large number of people and experience of catering to meet special dietary requirements. In addition, you will be an effective communicator and have experience of leading a team and the management of stock control.

Previous experience of maintaining standards within Catering Department according to Health & Safety and Food Safety Act and good IT skills are essential.

We offer flexible working with full time and part time hours available.
