Chief Finance Officer

Alexander Daniels Private Equity Search are partnering with an entrepreneurially led manufacturing business that are looking to appoint a Finance Director / CFO. The business works in a niche sector in the UK, but with increased expansion happening into Europe & USA. Whilst the business is currently well funded, there are plans to undertake a further round of fundraising to help accelerate the growth, and the Finance Director / CFO will play a key role in professionalising the business and partnering with the Founder & CEO and SLT.

As the Finance Director / Chief Financial Officer, you will collaborate closely with Shareholders, Key Stakeholders, Non-Executive Directors, and Investors. Your responsibilities encompass the day-to-day guidance and development of a proficient team managing transactional activities across diverse currencies and territories. Your strategic financial prowess will shine through short, mid, and long-term planning, inclusive of meticulous budgeting, in-depth analysis, and comprehensive reporting. Taking the helm, your focus will be on securing optimal value for shareholders and cultivating strategic equity partnerships to propel the business toward future growth milestones. Seamless collaboration with operational functions, including Sales, Manufacturing, and Procurement, will be crucial in identifying financial efficiencies for enhanced EBITDA and Enterprise Value.

The successful candidate will be a "hands on", Finance Director/CFO (or someone stepping into their first Finance Director role), who has operated in a manufacturing environment and has the energy and analytical skills to thrive in a face paced environment.

• A qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, ACMA).
• Experienced CFO, ideally in a PE Backed business in the Manufacturing and or related sectors.
• Strong ability to create content-rich financial presentations.
• Experience within Private Equity businesses ideally involved or led an exit process.
• Proficient in debt financing, especially for funding acquisitions
• An ability to be hands on and in the detail, but also able to contribute at a strategic level.
• Gravitas to provide credibility at Board level and with external stakeholders.
