Our Client, Liverpool City Council, is seeking a Children’s Social Worker to join its Adoption Team.

Responsibilities of this role:

  • Conducting assessments of prospective adoptive families to determine suitability
  • Providing support and guidance to adoptive families throughout the adoption process
  • Facilitating matching and introductions between children and adoptive families
  • Advocating for the best interests of children throughout the adoption process
  • Providing post-adoption support to families as they adjust to their new family dynamic

Requirements of this role:

  • Must be a Qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England.
  • Must have minimum of 2 years’ experience.
