Job Title: Claims Team Leader

Locations: Delph, Oldham

Salary: Up to £32,000

Responsible for quality and technical service delivery, ensuring client retention and service excellence, whilst building strong relationships with all stakeholders.

Supporting the Operations Manager to drive employee engagement and talent
development ensuring people are in the right roles, while fostering a sense of teamwork, success, and positive morale.


Consistently deliver a high level of client service delivery in an effective and cost- efficient manner.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in successfully leading a team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITES

  • Technical Claims experience
  • Team leadership of Customer Service Advisors, Claims Handlers with the goal of ensuring the daily, weekly, and monthly team objectives and KPIs are met
  • Attend to quality audits, reports, and feedback
  • Provide continuous training, ensuring the development and growth of the team members
  • Assess, evaluate, and deliver team '1 to 1's and KPI management
  • Manage absence and performance management meetings
  • Assist with recruitment, reviewing CV's and completing employee interview
  • Provide daily team support for queries and customer escalations
  • Complaint Management
  • Claims data management and MI reporting
  • Technical report writing ability
  • Continuous professional development and maintenance of Insurance Industry knowledge
  • Ensure full compliance with all relevant regulation and legislation, including; Data
  • Protection Law and Health & Safety Regulations

EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, AND SKILL

  • GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
  • Team Leader / Management experience (3 years)
  • CII or insurance qualification
  • Motivated to achieve results
  • Ability to work in fast paced environment against deadlines
  • Excellent Communication skill (verbal and written)
  • Strong relationship skills
  • Good IT skills, Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel, and Word
  • A clear DBS check
