About the Class 1 LGV Driver role

As a key player in our Fabrication Workshop team, you will ensure all our Grundon and customer sites receive their deliveries and collections - from waste containers to plant of all shapes and sizes - in a timely and safe manner. You will also assist our business in peak periods of the event season to ensure all event waste container and vehicles are delivered and collected on time.

You will need to be flexible about driving various types of vehicles to suit the loads and needs of our business. You will also be happy to work alone or part of a team, make your own decisions and plan your own workload where required. 

Working hours: 45 hours, Mon-Fri, 6am to 4pm, though you may need to be flexible about start and finish times to meet customers' needs.

Requirements

- Valid LGV Class 1 (Category C+E) licence, Driver Qualification Card (DQC) and digital tachograph driver card

- Experience of driving roll on roll offs, skips, front end loaders and waste wheelers (not essential as training provided)

- Experience or knowledge of low loaders and flatbeds an advantage

- Ideally, HIAB and telehandler forklift licences, but we'll train you if not

- Customer-focused and flexible approach
