This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Accountant to join a growing family-run accountancy practice in the wider Woking area. If you seek a firm to grow within and develop professionally this is the place for you! The Partners are highly experienced Accountants and would be able to support your ongoing personal and professional development.

Rounded Accounts role undertaking all the 'standard' duties, as well as managing a diverse portfolio and helping support Junior team members. You will be able to take ownership of your clients, undertaking accounts prep, supporting their Tax and VAT, offering advice where needed or requested, and supporting their overall business growth.

This is a growing firm, seeing good expansion across their client base and services and you'll have the chance to be part of that growth, helping drive the business to new heights.

Responsibilities include:

  • Preparation of Accounts for Sole traders, partnerships and LTD companies
  • Tax returns including corporation tax, self assessment, CIS and VAT returns
  • Weekly and Monthly Payrolls
  • Managing a varied portfolio
  • Supporting junior team members and checking their work
  • Ensuring work is completed to a high standard
  • Managing job workflow and ensuring deadlines are met
  • Client queries and business support

Requirements:

  • ACCA part or fully qualified
  • Experience within UK Accountancy practice, ideally 5 years minimum
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrable experience in a similar role
