Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced PROGRAMMER/TURNER proficient in programming/setting. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in producing complex turned components in Aluminum, Steel, Stainless Steel, and Titanium. A solid understanding of GD&T detailed drawings is advantageous, along with the ability to work to 0.01mm diametric tolerances and manufacture parts from samples independently.

Key Requirements:
  • Substantial experience in a similar role. 
  • Proficiency in operating machines such as Hardinge T42, Hardinge 6/42, DMG MORI ALX, ALX, and Citizen L32 Sliding Head.
  • Completion of a recognised apprenticeship and relevant qualifications in machining.
  • Extensive knowledge of setting and operating multi-axis machine tools to achieve maximum efficiency and highest quality standards.
  • Familiarity with CNC systems including Fanuc, Siemens, and Mitsubishi (DMG MORI).
  • Ability to consistently reproduce high-quality machined products within tight prototype lead times.
  • Strong teamwork skills and flexibility to meet team and customer demands.
  • Enthusiastic attitude with a positive approach to challenges.
  • Proficient in English language (reading, writing, and speaking).
