COINS - Finance Systems Manager

Our client is a well-regarded privately owned business operating within the House Building and Construction sector situated in Hertfordshire serving London and the South East area.

With the businesses focus on continuous improvement and growth, FRS have been enlisted to assist with the recruitment of a COINS Business / Finance Systems Manager to join the business.
Role Overview
This is a key role for the business to lead the implementation of COINS. The role will work closely with the Director of Group Finance, Group Head of IT and external specialist consultants to deliver the project.
The role will continue to develop during the life of the projects and BAU duties with the successful candidate taking responsibilities for COINS, production of management information across the Group and implementation of future software.
Year 1 Focus
• Managing the delivery of the COINS implementation for the business.
• Supporting the Director of Group Finance, Group Head of IT and external specialist COINS consultants to ensure successful implementation.
• Becoming the projects dedicated 'champion’ and 'coordinator’.
• Organising key meetings and managing project requirements throughout the business.
• Implementing training schedules and conducting 'train the trainer’ sessions.
• Responsibility for system testing and change management.
• Developing training and process documentation.
• Liaising with all department leads to ensure their requirements are achieved.
• Developing management information through Power BI.

Year 2 onwards:
• Responsibility for the ongoing management of COINS.
• Key contact across the company for any COINS related questions.
• Maintaining training and process documentation.
• Producing data analytics for the management team for all divisions.
• Producing management information through Power BI.
• Provision of ad-hoc financial analysis.
• Leading the implementation of future systems.

My client is keen to keep an open mind with the recruitment of this position and could be well suited to those already working within a more Systems / Analytical biased position or those working within a more mainstream finance role as a user of COINS or Power BI wishing to move into a more Finance Systems biased position

• Qualified or Part Qualified Accountant - AAT / ACCA / CIMA (Desirable but not essential)
• Experience in using either or COINS or Power BI
• Experience gained within delivering projects (Systems, Business Improvement Etc)
• Experience gained within Construction, House Building, Ground Works or Contracting, business
