Locum Commercial Contracts Lawyer – South East England – Up to £60 per hour Umbrella ­­­– Hybrid Working – 3 months – Full Time (37 hours per week)

Venn Group’s specialised legal team are in collaboration with a Council based in the South East England in their search for an experienced Locum Commercial Contracts Lawyer.  This is a full-time position where you will be working on a range of procurements, projects, and contract matters.

Duties may include:

  • Providing advice and assistance on all legal aspects of procurement, tenders and contracts including interpretation, drafting, contract management, disputes, and termination
  • Providing expert legal advice and support on a variety of commercial contracts and procurement matters and negotiating funding agreements
  • Assisting colleagues and developing knowledge in other areas including highways law, companies' law, and public/administrative law
  • Providing legal advice and representing the Council’s clients with any contractual matters
  • Ensuring the Council’s contract and procurement templates are created and up to date

This post is full time, (37 hours per week) on a hybrid basis offering up to £60 per hour Umbrella.
