Description

This is a varied Communications Manager role operating in a busy, high pressure Press Office and Communications Team. You will be responsible for:

  • Developing and delivering press campaigns both reactive & proactive.
  • Seeking out stories and writing press releases across all forms of content.
  • Working with multiple stakeholders to deliver key messaging
  • Maintain a network of trusted media professionals, outlets and organisations
  • Supporting on an crisis communications

Profile

The candidate that secures this Communications Manager position will be able to demonstrate the following skills and attributes:

  • Proven track record in Media/Press relations role, working knowledge of the public sector will be advantageous.
  • Enjoys both reactive and proactive press work
  • Performs in rapidly changing media priorities
  • Happy to work as part of a team to deliver key strategic messaging, in addition to managing solo campaigns
  • Office based in central London minimum 3 days/week

Job Offer

This is an exciting temporary Communications Manager opportunity to see real impact of effective communications to the public across London & surrounds.

Circa 4 month Temporary Contract offering a competitive hourly rate based on level and knowledge.
