CompEX Electrician Engineer
South West Area, UK
Permanent
£45,000+ per annum (Depending on Experience)

DK Recruitment are looking for several CompEX Electricians to help our client in the South west region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in fuel facilities, including pumps, dispensers, tanks, and control systems.
  • Conduct regular inspections and testing of electrical equipment to identify and address any issues or potential hazards.
  • Troubleshoot electrical problems and implement effective solutions and ensure the reliable operation of fuel facilities.
  • Adhere to CompEX regulations and industry standards at all times, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and procedures.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to colleagues and clients on electrical matters, including best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Complete all necessary documentation and reporting related to electrical work, including maintenance records, inspection reports, and safety certifications.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring that tools and equipment are properly maintained and stored.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a CompEX Electrician Engineer, with a strong background in the fuel industry.
  • CompEX certification is required.
  • Extensive knowledge of electrical systems and components, with the ability to diagnose and repair complex electrical issues.
  • Excellent understanding of CompEX regulations and industry standards related to fuel facilities.
  • UK Driving License and clean driving record.
  • Must be comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Experience working with fuel dispensers, pumps, and tanks is highly desirable.
