Responsibilities:

  • Managing compliance activities,
  • Ensuring adherence of the bank to relevant German and international regulations and policies,
  • Conducting compliance audits in a variety of topics,
  • Implementing compliance strategies on branch level,
  • Training employees and management on compliance procedures
  • Conducting yearly and ad-hoc compliance risk assessments,
  • Giving advice to management and related departments and
  • Maintaining compliance documentation.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of banking regulations and compliance standards
  • Experience in conducting compliance audits and implementing compliance strategies
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Proficiency in relevant compliance software and tools
  • Relevant certifications such as Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM) or Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS)
  • Fluency in English and German languages
  • Previous experience in the banking or financial services industry is a plus
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Finance, Law or a related field
