Working as part of a passionate team of creative Conference Producers who put exceptional content at the core of everything they do, you will be helping to createconferences in the financial Services and technology space that deliver great outcomes for your communities. This involves undertaking focused research, writing compelling conference programmes and related content. Recruiting best-in-class speakers, project managing conference delivery, whether physical or virtual, and taking ownership for the end-to-end process of running successful events in a variety of formats.

Key Skills/Accountabilities

Conference Development

• Generating and assessing viability of new conference ideas
• Identifying the target audience and supporting the development of marketing strategy.
• Desk based and telephone research skills are essential
• Market Mapping - understanding opportunities and ecosystem for conference sponsorship, identifying target markets as well as unique selling points to drive sponsorship
• The ability to develop a high-level understanding of a given market
• Understanding competitor landscape
• Identifying key stakeholders and partners and relationship management
• The ability to write compelling content in a variety of formats (related marketing material, blog posts, longer form reports etc).

Project Management

• Stakeholder management - manage speaker faculties and scheduling
• Control the project P&L
• Oversee aspects of delivery and operations

Sector expertise

• Awareness- Keep up to date with broader developments in the sector
• Build understanding of the wider company activities in the UK and internationally
• Develop strategic awareness through monitoring of the competition and the broader business information marketplace
• Identify gaps in the market for the business to explore
