We are currently seeking a Cook (HBC3)(Hospitality and Catering) to join our team in Widnes. As a cook, you will play a crucial role in providing nutritious and well balanced food to service users.
Requirements Cook (HBC3):
- Child/Adult DBS on Update Service.
- UK Passport/Right to Work (skilled worker VISA's need not apply)
- Basic Food Hygiene NVQ level 2
- 1 year in-UK Experience as a Cook/Chef
Responsibilities (Hospitality and Catering) :
- Prepare, cook, and serve high-quality meals and drinks meeting residents' cultural and dietary requirements.
- Collaborate with residents to develop menus based on preferences.
- Train kitchen staff on production methods, service, and care home kitchen standards.
- Team up with kitchen staff to accomplish daily tasks efficiently.
- Maintain accurate records including stock control, orders, invoices, cash reconciliation, and timesheets.
- Ensure kitchen hygiene and comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Monitor food costs and productivity to meet targets.
- Procure supplies according to planned menus and manage stock.
- Foster positive relationships with residents, staff, and families.
- Fulfill other duties as assigned, appropriate to the job grade.
