These individuals can be asked to cover various lessons, for various year groups. Cover Supervisors provide students with a sense of stability and peace within the classroom, helping students feel confident in their overall learning, and ensuring all is organised for the return of their full time teacher.

Cover Supervisor Qualifications:

• Good GCSE Grades
• Eligibility to work in the UK
• Previous Experience working with students
• Updated DBS

Purpose of Cover Supervisor?
As a Cover Supervisor, you will be exposed to students of various abilities, age groups, and learning needs. This environment will build your knowledge of how differentiation works in a classroom, and guide you to developing the tools to encourage student success. Please note that teaching Cover Supervisors are allowed to work on an ad-hoc basis, and may choose to explore multiple schools, or request to be placed full-time in one school.
