Job Title: Credit Controller (Maternity Cover)

Are you a skilled Credit Controller seeking an exciting new challenge? We have the perfect opportunity for you!

Our client is currently seeking a dedicated Credit Controller to join their team on a 12-month maternity cover basis. This role has an immediate start, with the ideal candidate starting in April to ensure a seamless handover.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively managing a portfolio of accounts, ensuring timely payment and resolution of any outstanding balances.
  • Implementing effective credit control procedures to reduce debtor days and minimize bad debt risk.
  • Building strong relationships with customers to facilitate prompt payment and resolve any queries or disputes in a professional manner.
  • Working closely with internal stakeholders to streamline processes and improve cash flow management.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in credit control or a similar finance role is essential.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.

In return, our client offers a competitive salary of £29,000 per annum, along with the opportunity to work within a supportive team environment where your contributions are valued and recognised.
