Credit Controller
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated Credit Controller to join a thriving Accounting & Finance team in the Construction industry, based just outside Braintree. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a can-do attitude, and the ability to work effectively in a busy, fast-paced environment.

They are an established company, with a sizeable workforce, committed to delivering excellent service to their diverse clientele. Headquartered just outside of Braintree, they are known for their professional approach and high-performance culture.
Description
- Manage and maintain the company's credit accounts with responsibility for around 250 clients in your ledger
- Conduct credit checks on new customers
- Ensure timely collection of payments in a group environment of around £8m per month
- Resolve client billing issues and queries
- Prepare regular financial and management reports
- Monitor and control the company's exposure to risk
- Collaborate with the Sales and Customer Service teams
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the company's credit control processes
Profile
A successful 'Credit Controller' should have:
- A degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field
- Strong numerical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
- Good understanding of credit control procedures and principles
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel
- A team-oriented approach with a strong customer focus
Job Offer
- A competitive salary in the range of £24,000 - £25,000 per annum
