Job Title: Data Administrator (Purchasing)

Contract End: January 2025 - Possibility of extension

Pay Rate: £18.21 per hour

Location: Crewe, Cheshire

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm

Working Pattern: Initially on site full time while training - Hybrid working available once trained with the view of working on site 2 days per week.

Are you an experienced administrator looking for a dynamic role? Our client, a leading organisation based in Crewe, is seeking a skilled Purchase Administrator to join their team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting the Purchase Department by maintaining vendor and part price data within their system databases. As a Purchase Administrator, your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing central administrative support to the Purchase Department, including attending and supporting team meetings and assisting with any ad hoc tasks as required.
  • Reporting Purchase statistical data for internal and Group use, preparing monthly general purchase reports and KPI packs, and providing relevant reports and information to other functional areas when needed.
  • Ensuring accurate and up-to-date maintenance of data within the Purchase systems, including part price, vendor details, and purchase order maintenance.
  • Proactively participating in continuous improvement activities, bringing new ideas and suggestions to enhance processes and drive efficiency.

To excel in this role, you will need:

  • Demonstrable experience of PC usage, including competency in EDCL.
  • Previous experience in administration within a relevant field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

While not required, experience working with SAP within a Purchase environment will be advantageous. Our client also values teamwork, so your ability to work collaboratively in a team environment to deliver continuous improvement will be highly valued.
