Location: Remote

Our rapidly growing agency client is seeking an experienced Data Engineerto join their data science team on a permanent full-time basis. As a Data Engineer, you’ll analyse, report and measure performance across their clients to help their key customers scale revenue through paid media, data science and marketing automation.

Responsibilities:

• Organise raw data
• Build and maintain data systems and pipelines
• Evaluate business data needs
• Prepare data for reporting
• Combine raw information from different sources
• Explore ways to enhance data quality and reliability
• Improve data architecture and pipeline processes (ETL / ELT)
• Identify opportunities for data acquisition
• Develop analytical tools and programs
• Collaborate and with marketing teams, clients and data analyst

Skills and experience:

• Previous experience as a data engineer or in a similar role
• Expertise in managing data pipeline platforms (i.e. Adverity, Matillion, Fivetran)
• Knowledge of REST APIs
• Technical expertise with data modelling in BigQuery
• Knowledge of programming languages and DE frameworks (Python)
• Hands-on experience with SQL database design
• Great analytical skills
• Degree in Computer Science, IT, Business or similar field; a Master’s is a plus
• Data engineering certifications are a plus
