Job Title: Data Migration Lead - ERP Transformation Programme

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Migration Lead to join our team for an exciting ERP transformation programme. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in data migration projects, particularly within SAP and Oracle environments. As the Data Migration Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of data migration, ensuring the seamless transfer of data from legacy systems to the new ERP platform.

Responsibilities:

Lead the data migration strategy and planning activities for the ERP transformation programme.

Collaborate with stakeholders to define data migration requirements and objectives.

Develop data migration plans, including data mapping, extraction, cleansing, transformation, and loading processes.

Oversee the execution of data migration activities, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards.

Coordinate with technical teams to resolve data migration issues and ensure data integrity.

Develop and maintain documentation related to data migration processes, procedures, and standards.

Provide guidance and support to the project team and stakeholders on data migration best practices.

Conduct data migration testing and validation to ensure accuracy and completeness of migrated data.

Monitor and report on data migration progress, risks, and issues to project management.

Requirements:

5 to 10 years of experience in a Data Lead role, preferably in ERP implementation projects.

Proven experience with SAP and Oracle systems, including data migration activities.

Strong understanding of data migration concepts, methodologies, and tools.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex data issues.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Solid organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Experience with data migration tools such as SAP Data Services, Oracle Data Integrator, or equivalent.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
